John Epperly serves as DirectViz Solutions’ Chief Executive Officer, bringing more than 35 years of leadership experience across public and private sectors. He leads the organization’s strategic direction, operational performance, and mission delivery, driving disciplined execution and sustainable growth across complex federal and commercial environments.

Prior to his current role, John served as Chief Operating Officer at DVS, overseeing client delivery operations, corporate services, and financial performance. His leadership strengthened operational efficiency, enhanced service delivery, and supported successful execution across diverse government and commercial programs.

John brings deep expertise from senior leadership roles at government and commercial organizations, including Booz Allen Hamilton, MCI Telecommunications, Elbit Systems of America, DMI, Coalfire, and Audley Consulting Group. Throughout his career, he has led cross-functional teams and delivered high-impact solutions across technology services, cybersecurity, systems engineering, and management consulting.

He also served more than 36 years in the U.S. Army and Army National Guard as an Armor and Infantry officer, rising to the rank of Major General and commanding large formations, including the 29th Infantry Division. His military service includes multiple operational combat deployments and senior advisory roles at the National Guard Bureau and to the Secretary of the Army, reflecting deep expertise in leadership, operational planning, and mission execution.

John holds a Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point, an MBA in Finance from Drexel University, and a Master of Science in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College. He is a National Security Fellow at The Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University and a credentialed Project Management Professional (PMP).
